HatcheryMatch Pilot Technical Meeting
HatcheryMatch would like to thank project partners CAFS Fisheries Machinery and Instrument Research Institute, Qingdao Blue Granary Marine Fishery Development Co.,Ltd, University of Malta Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition, and AquaBioTech Group for a highly successful pilot Technical Meeting! In September, updates on technological advancements of live feed distribution systems, automated tank cleaning systems, ultrasound disinfection systems, and computer vision technology for use with fish embryo development analysis were shared amongst the partners. Close collaboration and discussions like these will be crucial to the ongoing development of hatchery-specific live feed distribution systems in China and Malta, which will in turn allow for increased efficiency in the production of commercially relevant marine species including turbot and European sea bass!
