Thank you for a successful celebration of the HatcheryMatch partnership and research!

We would like to warmly thank all of our attendees who joined us either in person or online for the HatcheryMatch closing event that took place last week! Held on June 27th, the event demonstrated the results of the collaboration between China-based and Malta-based researchers and highlighted the efficacy of a novel marine recirculating turbot hatchery. For our in-person guests, the event also included a tour of project partner AquaBioTech Group’s Innovia aquaculture research facilities.

We are pleased to have hosted Malta Council For Science & Technology Deputy Director of Internationalisation Dr Maria Azzopardi and Senior Executive of Internationalisation George Bugeja at project partner AquaBioTech Group, in addition to an international audience of online participants. We appreciate all of our guest’s engagement and presence, and hope to host again in the future.

Although the HatcheryMatch project has come to an end, we look forward to lasting partnerships and future collaborations! Thank you for being part of this research and innovation journey.

AquaBioTech Group would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the Malta Council for Sience and Technology who have funded this project through the Sino-Malta Fund 2020 (Science and Technology Cooperation).
